The name Citrine comes from the French word "Citron" (lemon in French) because of the gems yellow color. However, not all Citrine is yellow. It can often be a deeper shade of orange, as in our Madeira Citrine. Citrine has a hardness of 7 and is a member of the quartz family.
- Pieces of rough from 4 to 10 cts each. This material ia as clean and blocky as you can imagine. Great orange color, you should be able to cut gems from 4x6 mm to 7x9 mm.
